Platzgummer GmbH with registered offices in Karlsfeld near Munich was founded in 1992 by Günther Platzgummer and Max Wieland.

Due to the expansion of business during the past years the turnover and the number of employees have increased continuously. In January 2008 Platzgummer GmbH was merged with IPTE Group, Genk, Belgium. Founded in Belgium in 1992, the IPTE Group is publicly traded on Euronext Brussels.

The emphasis of our business activity is on the development and construction of customer-specific assembly lines. The national and international automotive industry and their suppliers are among our customers.
